Help with Green Building Rating Systems

There is a selection of green building rating systems being used today. This course will introduce some of these systems such as Green Globess, LEED and Energy Star and their accreditation systems will be examined. The course will then direct the class through the studying process. Each week will focus on a different aspect of sustainability such as Sustainable Sites and Water Efficiency. by the final week the main aspects of sustainable building will be covered. Selected materials will be chosen to study in order to help you become proficient in specific areas of sustainability related to construction in order to successfully be able to use some of these rating systems.
